We were pleased to participate in a Texas Hold'Em Tournament at the Hollywood Renaissance Hotel, to benefit the Caucus of TV Producers, Writers and Directors. Elizabeth Daley, Dean of USC School of Cinema, and John Langley, Producer, Writer and Director (Cops), were honored for educating and mentoring new filmmakers. Langley known as the "Father of Reality TV", is revving up for the 20th season of Cops, which started the ball rolling for all reality shows.

Since it was a poker tournament, we bent the ear of Jamie Gold, winner of $12 million in the 2006 World Series of Poker. Other luminaries hoping to win the 41" flat screen TV (among other fab prizes), included Doris Roberts (Everybody Loves Raymond), Joan Van Ark, and Robb Weller, who was a very able announcer.

Another friend of ours, Lou Ferrigno, (Incredible Hulk) was the keynote speaker for graduation ceremonies for the new L.A. Reserve Deputy Sheriffs. The actor, author, and world champion body builder was sworn in last year as a LA Country Reserve Deputy Sheriff, and was certified to an upgrade Level 11, after many hours of on the job training and study in advanced weaponry.

Some of those enjoying the Moroccan themed pool side after party at the Figueroa Hotel, included Lou's gorgeous wife, Carla, TV star Yancy Arias (Die Hard 4), Edward Lozzi, Diedre Hall and of course, Sheriff Baca, who is most proud of his star pupil.
