Gloria De Haven, Margaret O'Brien and Jane Russell were among the stars who came to pay homage to the late Ms. Allyson, who was one of the undisputed original industry icons.

He created an intimate space, where one might enjoy a romantic supper or cocktails, away from the adjoining grandeur of the adjacent living area. He hosted a special group of socialites for a personal tour, and later took the Ladies Who Lunch to Morton's, where he transformed the mundane tables into a lavish Fall inspired banquet setting.
