According to The Hollywood Reporter Julianne Moore will no longer be playing Hillary Clinton in HBO and BBC Films movie The Special Relationship. Due to a scheduling conflict the former First Lady and current Secretary of State will be portrayed by Hope Davis.

The film, which looks at the interesting political relationship between newly installed British Prime Minister Tony Blair and U.S. President Bill Clinton in the late 1990s, will start shooting July 20 in London.

Dennis Quaid will be playing President Clinton, Michael Sheen will be Prime Minister Blair and Helen McCrory is Cherie Blair.

Oscar-nominated writer Peter Morgan wrote the film. He had wanted to direct it but now those duties will be handled by Richard Loncraine.
