Some cinema snobs may write off the upcoming comedy Hot Pursuit as trash, but judging from the trailer, this fast-paced action caper has everything needed to make it a gigantic hit when it arrives early this summer. Pictures, New Line Cinema and MGM production,Hot Pursuit follows an uptight and by the book cop (Reese Witherspoon) who tries to protect the sexy and outgoing widow of a drug boss (Sofía Vergara). The pair must race through Texas, pursued by crooked cops and murderous gunmen. As the tagline says, these two ladies are 'armed and sort of dangerous!'
