Hello everyone. The past few days have been very sad. Our affiliate, UGO, is based in New York City and after an extensive conversation with Lisa Hass, our direct UGO contact, I found out that many people working at UGO were eye witnesses to this horrific event. In turn, they have all been directly affected by having lost many friends and family in the attack. Our deepest condolences go out to all affected by this heinous tragedy.
In this time of disaster we all need to do as much as we can to help each other heal, for this could have happened to any of us. I see that UGO is running Red Cross banners on the site. Red Cross is taking donations in any dollar amount they can. Click the banners to find out how you can help in this desperate time.
This attack has affected Hollywood in some major ways as well. The Official Spiderman Website has been taken down temporarily due to the fact that the most recent trailer featured bank robbers getting entangled in Spiderman's web. The web was stretched across 2 skyscrapers in New York which had been the twin towers of the World Trade Center. We'll let you know when the site and revised trailer go back online.
In other news, the upcoming films Collateral Damage starring Arnold Swartzenegger, and Big Trouble starring Tim Allen, have been postponed due to their plotlines dealing with terrorism. No release dates have been announced and probably won't show up until later this year.
Let's try and raise spirits a little bit and talk about some cool things that have been floating around...
So, are you intrigued by this new The Matrix: Revisited DVD coming out? Well, if you are you will be interested in some footage of the DVD that I recently came across this week. While it looks like this DVD is going to be packed with behind the scenes featurettes and what not, this will be a "must have" for any movie buff or Matrix fan. Take a look at the footage right now! Click this...
Again, please help the Red Cross by donating or giving blood. For all of us not directly involved, it's the least we can do. Until next time...~Brian
