A new NBC series has just signed on its lawyer dad. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hugh Bonneville has signed on for the new series, Legally Mad.
The new David E. Kelley series centers on young Brady Hamm (Charity Wakefield) who takes a job at her father's law firm. Bonneville will play the father, Gordon Hamm.
"Gordon Hamm is based on the true story of a real-life attorney who lives in my head," Kelley said. "Sharp litigator, a lot of fun and, deep down, a mess."
No production schedule was announced for the series.
