Hugh Jackman has made a deal with 20th Century Fox to co-produce four or five films in Australia.

The native Aussie actor and his Seed Productions company aims to develop and produce film, television and theater projects, also has a partnership agreement with Australian pay TV service Foxtel to develop TV drama, entertainment and documentary projects over the next three years. The Hollywood Reporter says the deal will give Foxtel exclusive Australian rights to all of Seed's international TV productions. The Jackman venture has its Australian offices at the Fox Studios Australia lot and plans to help finance local feature films with budgets of up to AUS$10 million ($7.6 million).

Currently, Hugh is on stage down under in the production of The Boy From Oz.
