The Hulk: Josh Lucas (A Beautiful Mind) is nearly set to once again co-star opposite Jennifer Connelly in The Hulk for director Ang Lee. Pic is Universal's big summer entry for 2003, scheduled to open on June 20th. Eric Bana ( Black Hawk Down, Chopper ) is playing Dr. Bruce Banner. Oscar nominee Connelly is playing the role of Betty, Banners romantic interest. Nick Nolte is Banner's father, and Sam Elliott is General Ross, the Army commander who's searching for the big green guy. Josh Lucas would take the role of Talbott, a childhood friend of Betty who is now a soldier and rival of Bruce Banner.

007: Reports have come in from London that Pierce Brosnan has suffered a knee injury while shooting an action sequence on the new Bond film. Sources close to the production say he'll be out for about two weeks, but that this minor setback will not affect the schedule. Bond is set for a November release.

Don Cheadle: Actor Don Cheadle is nearing a deal to make his directorial debut with Tishomingo Blues , the latest novel from author Elmore Leonard. Cheadle may also play a role in the project. Cheadle originally met with Leonard (who is to produce) regarding taking on the role of the villain. It seems that Cheadle had a very visually interesting take on the book, so an offer has gone out for him to direct. Cheadle, you may recall, previously played a character in a Leonard based film... He was 'Snoopy' Miller in the brilliant Out of Sight . If Cheadle does direct, it remains to be seen if he will perform in the film. The project is out to writers, and Film Four expects to roll before years end. Film Four productions include Sexy Beast for which Ben Kingsley is nominated this year. They also distributed Birthday Girl, and have Death To Smoochy on the way to the multiplex.
