Josh Hutcherson's Peeta Mellark is alive and well, and serving as a propaganda mouth piece for the Capitol in the first scene from The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.

Ready to fight for the rebellion, and not quite sure what happened to her old friend, Katniss Everdeen sits down to eat only to see Peeta appear on the TV before her, spouting unthinkable ideas to the oppressed people she is fighting so hard to save.

Peeta is asked to go through the ordeal of that controversial final night seen in last year's The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. He describes his one wish on the battlefield. A very costly gift that Katniss knows too well.

Will Katniss be able to forgive Peeta for his betrayal? Or will she instead fight to save her own life and those who fight alongside her? We'll find out when The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 finally opens later this month.
