Just days before The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 will invade Comic-Con with their Hall H panel on Thursday, July 9, Lionsgate has released eight new posters, part of a series called "Faces of the Revolution." These one-sheets feature Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss), Josh Hutcherson (Peeta), Liam Hemsworth (Gale), Natalie Dormer (Cressida), Sam Claflin (Finnick), Mahershala Ali (Boggs), Jena Malone (Johanna) and Willow Shields (Primrose), all of whom have the Mockingjay symbol painted over their faces. It remains to be seen if these posters will be handed out to the fans during Comic-Con this week.
With the nation of Panem in a full scale war, Katniss confronts President Snow (Donald Sutherland) in the final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends - including Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Finnick (Sam Claflin), and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) - Katniss goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her. If these posters weren't enough, we also have a new photo featuring Katniss, Gale and Boggs preparing for battle against President Snow and his nefarious forces.
