Filmmaker Antoine Fuqua is in final talks to direct Hunter Killer for Relativity Media. We reported last month that Salt director Phillip Noyce left the project, which allowed for Antoine Fuqua to take the reins.

Hunter Killer centers on a new submarine captain who teams up with a Navy SEAL team to rescue the Russian president. They must also stop a Russian general that started a military coup before he can start World War III.
