Variety reports that Hyde Park Entertainment will be teaming up with Toonz Entertainment as well Gang of 7 Animation to make The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus. This CGI-animated feature will be based on L. Frank Baum's book.

The story looks at Santa Claus in his early life and how he become the person he is today.

The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus marks the first foray into animation for Hyde Park Entertainment. Directing will be Tom Tataranowicz, Rich Arons and Dick Sebast. Tataranowicz also wrote the screenplay with Mark Edward Edens.

Production is slated to begin in India later this month.

The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus will be out for the holidays in 2010.
