Tyler Perry's I Can Do Bad All By MyselfNot even a critically acclaimed war film could stop Tyler Perry and his latest film from topping the home video charts this week. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tyler Perry's I Can Do Bad All By Myself topped the DVD sales charts in its first week, the week ending January 17.

Tyler Perry's latest film had some worthy competition though in the heralded war drama The Hurt Locker, which took second place, but sold about 80% of the units that Tyler Perry's I Can Do Bad All By Myself sold and took the top spot on the DVD rental charts as well. The only other notable new release was Rob Zombie's Halloween II, which took fifth place on the sales charts and third on the rental charts.

The Hurt Locker also scored an impressive victory on the Blu-ray sales charts, with The Hangover still clinging to the number two spot in BD sales. The Hurt Locker sold an impressive 35% of its total units in the BD format, while Tyler Perry's I Can Do Bad All By Myself only sold 5% of its discs in 1080p.
