Susan Sarandon has joined the Columbia Pictures comedy I Hate You Dad alongside Adam Sandler and Andy Samberg.

The story centers around a father (Adam Sandler) who makes life extremely difficult for his son (Andy Samberg) when he moves in just before the son's wedding. Leighton Meester will portray Andy Samberg's fiancee. Ian Ziering has been cast as a drugged-out version of himself, while Vanilla Ice will also be playing an altered take on his own persona.

Susan Sarandon will portray a sexy teacher, in what is described as a major role.

Sean Anders and John Morris (Sex Drive, Mr. Popper's Penguins) will direct I Hate You Dad from a script by David Wain, Ken Marino, and David Caspe.

Production will begin this summer in Boston. Columbia Pictures is also in talks with a number of other actors such as James Caan, Milo Ventimiglia, Will Forte, and Susan Sarandon's daughter, Eva Amurri. It isn't known what roles these actors are in talks for.
