In a story from Variety, Twentieth Century Fox has set Ice Age: Continental Drift to be released on July 13, 2012.

Ice Age: Continental Drift is the tentative title. The film will be in 3D.

Fox has good reason to want there to be another Ice Age. The first film took in $176 at the box office. Ice Age: The Meltdown brought in $195 million and Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs posted $196 million in box office receipts. The feeling is that if these films keep besting one another in this way, Fox is going to continue making them to see just how far they can take this furry franchise.

Presently, there is no word yet on what the plot of this film will be but something tells us that Manny (Ray Romano), Sid (John Leguizamo), and Diego (Denis Leary) are in for another adventure!
