Blue Collar Comedy Tour: Image Entertainment, a leading licensee and distributor of DVD programming in North America, announced an exclusive DVD licensing deal with Parallel Entertainment for a series of releases including all of the participants in the smash Blue Collar Comedy Tour: Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy, Ron White, and Bill Engvall.

The multi-title DVD agreement begins with the March 30 release of "Jeff Foxworthy: You Might Be a Redneck If.../Check Your Neck," a collection of two of his funniest programs, available for the first time on DVD. Foxworthy is one of the most respected and successful comedians in the country. He is the largest selling comedy-recording artist in history, a multiple Grammy Award nominee, best selling author of 11 books and has starred in "The Jeff Foxworthy Show." Jeff will be starring in and executive producing a comedy series, "Blue Collar TV," which he also created for the WB network in June of 2004. The series will also star Bill Engvall and Larry the Cable Guy.

The second DVD release, "Git-R-Done," highlights the comedic talents of Larry the Cable Guy. A regular on radio with his weekly commentaries, he also released a bestselling CD, "Lord, I Apologize." This comedy CD has consistently charted in the top ten of the Billboard Comedy Charts. He will be the voice of an animated character in the new Disney/Pixar movie "Cars," which is set for release in 2005. Larry the Cable Guy is on tour and selling out theaters and arenas around the country. His DVD special "Git-R-Done" will be released on May 25, 2004.

Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy were joined on the smash Blue Collar Comedy Tour by Ron White and Bill Engvall, who will also be releasing DVD specials this year through Image. White's solo comedy CD debut, "Drunk in Public," was released in late 2003, in conjunction with a Comedy Central special for the sharp-witted Texan. Image will release his solo DVD, "They Call Me Tater Salad," in June.

Bill Engvall has sold more than 2 million comedy albums, including the certified-platinum "Here's Your Sign." He has released six comedy CDs, starred in several television series, and published the book "You Don't Have To Be Dumb To Be Stupid." His DVD special "Here's Your Sign: Live" will be released by Image on July 27.

A nationwide hit, the Blue Collar Comedy Tour played to sold-out audiences in over 90 cities and grossed over $15 million. A motion picture version of the tour was nationally released by Warner Bros. The movie premiered on Comedy Central and was the most watched film in the channel's twelve year history, drawing a record number of viewers (2 million). Foxworthy, Engvall, and Larry the Cable Guy were then signed by the WB to a sketch comedy series of eight episodes produced by talent from "Mad TV" and "In Living Color."

Barry Gordon, Image's Senior Vice President of Acquisitions, stated, "The combination of Jeff, Larry, Bill, and Ron as the Blue Collar Comedians is a proven commercial powerhouse in all entertainment avenues including feature film, television, concert tours, and packaged media. The opportunity to partner with this top-flight talent, and the visionary Parallel management team, on new programming initiatives clearly cements Image's leading position as one of the top independent suppliers of stand-up comedy programming in the home entertainment industry."

"All of us at Parallel Entertainment are very excited about this new relationship with Image Entertainment, who is a leader in the licensing and distributing of DVD programming in North America," stated J.P. Williams, manager and partner at Parallel Entertainment. "We currently have some great projects coming out in 2004 and we are looking forward to many more opportunities in the future."
