Years before Ang Lee's 2003 film Hulk and Louis Leterrier's Marvel Phase One movie The Incredible Hulk, Jonathan Hensleigh was attached to direct a Hulk movie in 1997, with Billy Crudup set to star as the enormous green superhero. While the project never got off the ground floor, concept art images from artist Benton Jew have surfaced, giving fans a new look at this never-produced film. These concept art images, which Benton Jew released on his official website, incorporate Billy Crudup's face into the character. He would later be called upon to provide storyboards for 2008's The Incredible Hulk, some of which are included in these photos as well. Take a look at the Hulk from this movie that never came to be.
