They're coming back! A brand new Independence Day: Resurgence TV spot dropped during The Walking Dead Season 6 finale last night, and it offers some exciting new footage of the aliens as they send a distress call into outer space. After twenty years, the mother ship is coming back, and it's ready to destroy everything that's been rebuilt! This latest sneak peek introduces Maika Monroe as President Whitmore's daughter Patricia. And we get a first look at the return of Brent Spiner as Dr. Brackish Okun.

From director Roland Emmerich and producer Dean Devlin, 1996's Independence Day shattered opening weekend and total box office records, becoming the year's top-grossing film.
