/indiana-jones-5-cast-chris-pratt-disney/Late last month, it was rumored that Disney is actively seeking Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt to take over the role of Indiana Jones from Harrison Ford in a big screen reboot. While doing a press appearance for his Hasty Pudding Man of the Year award, the actor finally commented on the idea of taking over such an iconic role.
Chris Pratt won't yet admit to knowing anything about starring in an all-new Indiana Jones adventure. But according to ComicBook.com, he did say it would be an 'awesome opportunity'. The actor was roasted this past Friday night, after receiving his Hasty Pudding award at Harvard University. The roast included many references to Chris Pratt's past films, and one presenter even announced that he was going to give Pratt an 'Infinity Stone'. It turned out to be a bra decorated with dinosaurs in honor of his upcoming appearance in Jurassic World.
This past week, Chris Pratt and his Marvel co-worker Chris Evans, who stars as Captain America, made good on their Super Bowl bet. Chris Pratt lost, and in turn, showed up at Christopher's Haven children's hospital in his Star-Lord costume. About the appearance, he stated:
"I said it before, and I plan to live by it. Going into doing Guardians of the Galaxy if it was ever successful enough where it would actually make an impact on a kid's life in a positive way, I would be there to try to do that, and I've been really blessed and happy to do that."
/indiana-jones-movie-reboot-director-matthew-vaughn/Earlier today, it was reported that Kingsman: The Secret Service director wouldn't mind coming aboard a new Indiana Jones movie. With Chris Pratt possibly taking on the role of Henry Jones Jr., that doesn't sound like a bad combination. What do you think?
