A bunch of new character posters for Infinity War have been revealed. Marvel recently decided to give fans a little treat and bump up the release date of Avengers: Infinity War by one week, meaning that we'll now be seeing Avengers 3 on April 27, as opposed to May 4. The movie is now less than two months away, with the marketing is kicking into high-gear. Today we bring you 18 newly revealed character posters, providing us with new looks at a ton of the Marvel heroes set to appear in the massive adventure.

Individual character posters have been revealed for Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, Doctor Strange, Vision, Scarlet Witch, Bucky, Iron Spider, War Machine, Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, Mantis, Groot and Falcon. Well worth noting is that Tom Holland's Spider-Man is being billed as Iron Spider here. So not only is his suit going to come with some intense upgrades, but his name could be changing in the MCU as well. At least for Avengers: Infinity War. This also gives us another good look at the teenage version of Groot, which will be yet another new way for us to see the talking tree in action.

The posters themselves are quite colorful and reminiscent of the marketing for Thor: Ragnarok. Surprisingly, 18 character posters doesn't even come close to covering it. Noticeably absent from this lineup are bad guys like Thanos, his Black Order and Loki. We also don't see Ant-Man in the lineup, or Hawkeye, who is one of the core members of The Avengers. Nor is Nebula included with the Guardians of the Galaxy here. However, the most glaring omission is the lack of Black Panther or any of his supporting characters. Considering how hot Black Panther is right now, one would think Marvel would be leaning into that.

With that said, we're likely to see even more of these character posters for Avengers: Infinity War revealed in the near future. 18 posters would be more than enough for any other movie, but if Marvel released every single character poster needed for this movie at once, it would probably be way too much to take in. Perhaps they'll reveal a second batch of just villain posters and some Black Panther specific character posters soon?

These character posters are nice, but what fans really want to know is when the full-length Infinity War trailer is coming. While it hasn't yet been revealed, we expect to see it any day now, so we're sure to be getting a much better look at what directors Joe Russo and Anthony Russo cooked up very soon. That also means that tickets for Avengers: Infinity War will be going on sale very soon as well, and considering how high the demand for this movie is going to be, you're going to want to stay on top of that.
