Marvel fans all over the world are currently watching and re-watching the new trailer for Infinity War, looking at every frame for any small detail that they might have missed. Thankfully, we've got some amazing images from the trailer to help that dissection. In addition, fans are also gobbling up pre-sale tickets, since they're officially on sale as of this morning, so if you haven't done that yet, you might want to jump on that.
The new Infinity War trailer is lengthy, and it shows off footage that we've only been teased about since the first teaser arrived late last year. We've got some more official information on the team ups that the epic movie will feature. For one, we see that Drax the Destroyer, Star-Lord, and Gamora from the Guardians of the Galaxy will team up with Iron Man and Spider-Man. Star-Lord isn't exactly impressed with Tony Stark's initial plan. We also see War Machine along with Bruce Banner and Black Widow before they head to Wakanda to meet up with Captain America and Black Panther along with Bucky, Shuri, and Falcon.
Thanos and his power are on full display in the 2-minute trailer. Gamora takes a line straight from the comics to reveal what will happen if the Mad Titan retrieves all of the Infinity Stones: "If he gets all the Infinity Stones, he can do it with the snap of his fingers." We also see Thanos battle with Captain America, Thor and Iron Man in three different scenes, which gives some mighty big hints that those iconic characters might not make it out alive. Thanos is here to bring his warped sense of "balance" to the galaxy.
Speaking of Thanos, we also get out best look yet at his Black Order who seem to have captured Loki. The crew features Proxima Midnight, Corvus Glaive, Black Dwarf, and Ebony Maw. Ebony Maw seems to have set his targets on Doctor Strange as we see him in a pretty painful predicament. The new Infinity War trailer also makes it look like Loki and the Black Order are watching Thanos crush Thor's head like a grape.
As for the Infinity Stones, it seems that Thanos already has the Space Stone (from the Tesseract) and the Power Stone (from the Collector). We can clearly see the two stone on the Infinity Gauntlet when the Mad Titan is fighting Captain America on Wakanda, but it looks like that Black Order might recover the Mind Stone from Vision and the Mind Stone from Doctor Strange. As for the heavily rumored Soul Stone, which the Russo Brothers have been trolling fans about on social media, it's still a mystery as to where it is, though many fans believe that Iron Man is in possession of the final Stone.
Thor is spotted again in the trailer, but this time with Rocket the Raccoon and Groot. The two Guardians of the Galaxy are in awe of the God of Thunder's powers that he recently learned to harness in Ragnarok. Elsewhere, we're shown a child version of Gamora walking with her adopted father Thanos on Titan. Thanos is wearing a version of the armor that we are used to seeing him with. And we see a distressed Scarlet Witch in another scene, while Spider-Man is seen quite a bit. There's a lot to take in while watching the new Infinity War trailer, so check out some of images compiled for you below, thanks to Marvel Studios.
