Following the poster and international trailer released earlier this month from Inherent Vice, Warner Bros. has released yet another banner, featuring artistic renditions of the cast celebrating Thanksgiving in an unusual way. Instead of gathering around the table to chow down on some turkey, pizza is on the menu, as these characters give thanks in an unusual way. Joaquin Phoenix, Reese Witherspoon, Owen Wilson, Martin Short, Jena Malone, Josh Brolin, Benicio Del Toro, Eric Roberts and more are featured on this colorful banner.

Based on Thomas Pynchon's novel of the same name, Inherent Vice is set in 1970, drug-fueled Los Angeles, following detective Larry "Doc" Sportello (Joaquin Phoenix) as he investigates the disappearance of a former girlfriend. For those of you in New York and Los Angeles, Inherent Vice will be released on December 12, with the adaptation expanding nationwide starting on January 9. The film is already getting awards season buzz after screenings at the New York Film Festival and AFI Fest, but we'll have to wait and see how many major awards it will take home.

Take a look at the unique characters in this first ever adaptation of a Thomas Pynchon novel below. Stay tuned for more images and footage as we get closer and closer to Inherent Vice's release.
