For those who didn't get to catch Inherent Vice at the New York Film Festival or AFI Fest in Los Angeles recently, you'll have to wait until director Paul Thomas Anderson's adaptation hits theaters in limited release on December 12, before expanding nationwide on January 9. For those PTA fans who live in London, a new international trailer reveals that a special screening will be held on Wednesday, November 19 at the Prince Charles Cinema (CLICK HERE to purchase tickets for that screening).

Writer-director Paul Thomas Anderson cut together the new footage himself for this U.K. trailer, which features Joaquin Phoenix as L.A. private detective Doc Sportello, who takes on a case involving his ex lover's billionaire boyfriend, along with an all-star supporting cast featuring Josh Brolin, Reese Witherspoon, Owen Wilson, Martin Short, Benicio Del Toro and Michael K. Williams.

In addition, Warner Bros. has released a new banner from this adaptation of Thomas Pynchon's novel of the same name, which you can check out below the trailer.
