FilmDistrict has set an April 1st release date for its horror Insidious, starring Rose Byrne and Patrick Wilson.

From director James Wan and writer Leigh Whannell (creators of the Saw franchise), Insidious centers on a young family that makes the terrifying discovery that the body of their comatose boy has become a magnet for malevolent entities, while his consciousness lies trapped in the dark and insidious realm known as The Further.

Other films to open that day include Mother's Day from Darren Lynn Bousman; Super, the superhero comedy from Slither director James Gunn; and Duncan Jones' action thriller Source Code.
