Scott Waugh, the director behind Act of Valor and Need for Speed, is in final negotiations to take on the sci-fi epic Inversion for Foresight Unlimited.

Having found success with their previous two movies Lone Survivor and 2 Guns, Foresight Unlimited is planning Inversion as a large-scale blockbuster that is marked as a $120 million project.

The story follows two unlikely heroes, a young Chinese scientist and a street smart American expat, on a frenzied journey across the globe to save Earth from an apocalyptic threat...A total reversal of gravity that causes whole cities and civilizations to uproot and plummet into the sky.

Inversion is currently in the stages of pre-production, with a screenplay written by Bragi F. Schut (Season of the Witch) and Oscar winner David Arata (Children of Men). The film is expected to start shooting in April 2015. You can check out the first piece of concept art here:
