It appears that this web rumor was true after all. According to Video Business, it appears that the previously reported DVD and Blu-Ray street date of September 30 for Iron Man has been confirmed.

Amazon.com is currently taking pre-orders for this release, in three different versions. A single-disc edition will be released for $34.99 SRP, a two-disc special edition will be avaliable for $39.99 SRP and the two-disc Blu-Ray edition will also be priced at $39.99 SRP. Keep in mind, Paramount has not officially announced this release as of yet and no cover art or special features details have been released, but we'll surely keep you posted on this huge release.
