Cleveland is the backdrop of David Fincher's next project Torso, an adaptation of the Michael Bendis/Marc Andreyko graphic novel. In a story released today by Cleveland.com, Matt Damon is reportedly going to be play Elliot Ness in the film.

Apparently, Paramount wants to begin production on the film sometime early next year, but they will need incentives to actually shoot in the state of Ohio. The graphic novel revolves around Cleveland's notorious Kingsbury Run murders, also dubbed the Torso Murders. Matt Damon will play Ness, who was the city's safety director at the time. This all occurred between 1934 and 1938, after Ness' involvement with Al Capone.

The film does not have an official start date at this time.
