Noam Chomsky brings to life a series of conversations that Michel Gondry had with Professor Chomsky over a period of time. Through Gondry's inventive animation, we are taken on a journey as he comes to understand the process and logic behind Noam's stream of ideas ultimately bringing us to Chomsky's theory on the emergence of language. Through it all, Gondry is able to give us a greater sense of Professor Chomsky as a man and of his deep humanity.
