Twitter user Cedric Mengual released what he claims may be the new logo for Star Wars: Episode VII, although, of course, it has not been confirmed if this is the real deal or not. Take a look at the image, then read on for more information.

Who is Cedric Mengual? According to his Twitter profile, he is the CEO of a French graphic design firm named Boop Creative Studio. It isn't known where he got his hands on this image, but it will be interesting to see how fans react to this logo, which takes a cue from the 1995 thriller Seven, that used the number 7 in its title.

Is this real or fake? Since Disney and LucasFilm haven't even confirmed any cast members yet, it seems unlikely that they will chime in regarding this image's authenticity, but we'll have to wait and see.
