Rumor hit the web back in September that the Jackass: The Movie gang was developing a third feature film, and according to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will not be shown in theatres.

The trade reports that Paramount Digital Entertainment and MTV New Media are co-producing Jackass 2.5, a sequel to its two-time boxoffice hit that will skip movie theatres entirely.

Instead, the 64-minute film will be offered online for free for two weeks beginning December 19 courtesy of Blockbuster. The movie will be made available at blockbuster.jackassworld.com.

From there, the film will move on in ensuing weeks to pay-per-view platforms including iTunes and DVD.
