Jackass 3 DVDJohnny Knoxville and his outrageous crew from Jackass 3D exploded onto the home video scene as the top-selling DVD, for the week ending March 13. However, the Disney release Bambi topped the Blu-ray sales charts and The Next Three Days took first on the rental charts in a week that saw several, high-profile releases hit the shelves.

The Walking Dead: Season One took second place on the DVD sales charts and third place on the Blu-ray sales charts, with The Next Three Days taking fifth place in DVD sales and fourth place in BD sales. Another new release, Morning Glory, finished in eighth place in DVD sales and 12th place in BD sales, although it fared much better on the rental charts in third place. Even though it was only released in Blu-ray, Bambi took fourth place on the overall sales charts.

The Next Three Days, Jackass 3D, and Morning Glory took the top spots on the rental charts, which is rather unusual. With most studios imposing 28-day waiting periods for Netflix and Redbox, it's rare to see three new titles atop the rental charts, but all three titles come from studios who do not have such rental restrictions.

Although Bambi took home the BD sales crown, The Walking Dead: Season One's third place finish on the high-def charts is most impressive for a TV title. 45% of The Walking Dead: Season One's total sales came in the 1080p format. Jackass 3D took second place on the Blu-ray sales charts.
