Paramount has given Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa an October 25, 2013 release date, the slot formerly occupied by Paranormal Activity 5. It will be going up against Fox's The Counselor and FilmDistrict's Oldboy remake.

Paramount and MTV Films announced today that shooting has been completed on the comedy, with Johnny Knoxville reprising his role as Irving Zisman, who surprises everyone around him in public with his outrageous behavior. No story details are known regarding Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa. Johnny Knoxville appeared as Irving Zisman in a segment of 2010's Jackass 3D.

The studio has not announced who is directing the comedy, but it would seem likely that Jeff Tremaine, who directed Jackass: The Movie, Jackass Number Two, and 2010's Jackass 3D, will be back at the helm. Back in January, Steve-O exclusively told us that this sequel was still alive, contrary to Johnny Knoxville's statement that this was not in the works.

With the release just over three months away, expect to hear more details about this upcoming movie in the very near future.
