Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon will star in New Line's Middle East political thriller Rendition, according to Variety. Gavin Hood (Tsotsi) will direct.
The multi-layered story centers on a CIA analyst, based in the Middle East whose world spins out of control as he questions his assignment after overseeing the secret-police interrogation of a suspected terrorist.
Production scheduled to being in mid-November.
