Columbia Pictures has found itself a director for one awful teacher. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jake Kasdan (Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story) will direct Bad Teacher for the studio.

Kasdan will direct from a script by Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg, which revolves around rowdy female middle school teacher who is dumped by her sugar-daddy boyfriend and starts to pursue male colleague, which doesn't sit well with the school's pristine teacher.

No production schedule was announced for the film. Stupnitsky and Eisenberg also wrote Year One, due out June 19 and the writing duo are also penning the anticipated Ghostbusters 3.
