Do we finally know the title of James Bond 25? MGM and Eon Productions have yet to officially reveal the title, but it may have leaked online anyway. We stress may. Until the studio does decide to announce the title in formal fashion, nothing is set in stone. That said, if this latest leak turns out to be true, it would make for an interesting title, for various reasons.

An unofficial James Bond fan account recently posted an image to its Twitter account which appears as though it could be from the production offices. On a piece of paper the words "A Reason to Die" are scribbled out in black marker with the number 7 written below. And with that, we have a new possible title for 007's latest adventure. It certainly sounds like the possible title of a Bond movie, but how likely is this to be true?

Truthfully, it's difficult to say. Previously, the title Shatterhand had leaked, but was later discredited. However, it was repurposed as the movie's working title for production. As for A Reason to Die, we had heard rumors at various points that there was, or maybe still is, a plan to actually have Bond killed in this movie. If that holds any truth, it would make this title a little on the nose, and also a little more intriguing. Supposedly, the character's death was a point of contention and, in part, led to director Danny Boyle's departure. Again, that's all just stuff that's been churning in the rumor mill.

What we know for sure is that this will be Daniel Craig's final turn as the iconic MI6 spy. Bond is semi-retired, following the events of Spectre, living in Jamaica, before he's pulled back in for a new mission by his old buddy Felix Leiter, once again played by Jeffrey Wright. Cary Fukunaga (Beasts of No Nation) is in the director's chair. Franchise regulars Neal Purvis and Robert Wade have been working on the script, alongside Scott Z. Burns (The Bourne Ultimatum) and Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag).

Other returning members of the cast include Ralph Fiennes (M), Naomie Harris (Moneypenny) and Ben Whishaw (Q). Recent Oscar-winner Rami Malek (Bohemian Rhapsody) is on board as the villain. Newcomers include Ana de Armas (Blade Runner 2049), Billy Magnussen (Game Night)), Dali Benssalah (A Faithful Man), Lashana Lynch (Captain Marvel) and David Dencik (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo).

So far, the production has faced its share of troubles. An explosion on set injured a crew member and Daniel Craig broke his ankle while filming a sequence, which required surgery and delayed filming. Hopefully, things will turn out alright in the end and the studio will reveal the official title sooner rather than later. James Bond 25 is currently set to hit theaters on April 8, 2020.
