James Franco is obsessed with Hermione Granger. Or perhaps, more so with the young actress who portrayed the Muggle-born witch in eight Harry Potter movies, Emma Watson. Today, the actor is showing off his latest work of art. Yes, he's gone and gotten himself an Emma Watson neck tattoo. But if you're worried that he's gone off the deep end, or that the object of his affection needs to file for a restraining order, don't. It's only temporary!

James Franco and Emma Watson co-starred in the hit apocalyptic comedy This Is the End way back in 2013, and it seems James still has a bit of a crush on his former leading lady. While she only had a minor role in that film, she was one of the few actresses to appear amidst the chaos. And now, Franco is celebrating his love for the upcoming Beauty and the Beast star. He shared the image on his personal Instagram account. He even included a heart emoji along with the name Hermione (though, for someone so in love, you may notice in the actual post that he spelled the character's name wrong).

This portrait of Emma Watson sits square on Franco's neck. And it has her name in cursive scrawled underneath it. The tattoo is courtesy of Cheyenne Randall, who's also responsible for the giant American eagle sitting on his bare chest. You can see some of her other work on her own Instagram page. There, you will notice that she has quite the flare for faux tattoos and unique artwork.

Most striking is an image of Elvis Presley as a Vampire, which also accompanies a scary image of Cara Delevingne's head placed on to the tattooed body of a very scrawny man. She's also used Winona Ryder as a canvas for her work. As of yet, Emma Watson has not committed on Cheyenne Randall's latest masterpiece. And it's doubtful that James Franco and she will become romantically involved over this shocking display.

Emma Watson, 25 years-old, is currently romantically linked to actor Roberto Aguire. The pair met on the set of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. At this time, Roberto has not stepped up and gotten his own Emma neck tattoo. Perhaps he remembers Johnny Depp's permanent Winona Ryder tattoo from back in the day, which the Pirates star has since changed to 'Wino Forever'. If that's not a Hollywood cautionary tale, we don't know what is. Take a look at the work of Cheyenne Randall, as she uses James Franco as her latest canvas.
