The Sopranos hasn't been over for very long, but James Gandolfini is already returning to HBO. According to Variety, he will appear in the film ABCD Camp for the pay cable network.

Gandolfini will star as Sonny Vaccaro, the man who signed Michael Jordan to his first million-dollar shoe deal at Nike. The film, written by Friday Night Lights's David Aaron Cohen, will revolve around the last youth basketball camp that Vaccaro established.

Vaccaro is noted for launching the careers of LeBron James and Tracy McGrady. He also made a ton of money brokering deals with college coaches to outfit teams with various brand name sneakers. He worked for Nike, Adidas, and Reebok.

The film is set to go before the camera sometime early next year.
