James McAvoy has been making the press rounds to promote his new movie Welcome to the Punch. He also gave a few updates about some upcoming projects, and cleared the air about his involvement in The Crow reboot. We reported last month that the actor was in talks to star as the tormented Eric Draven, although that isn't quite happening yet.

"It's not for real. I don't think it's materialized into anything truthful yet... it's just been rumor mill stuff."

When asked about X-Men: Days of Future Past, the actor revealed he has been so busy lately he hasn't even read the script yet.

"The X-Men script? It's in my inbox. I've still got to read it. I'm very excited about it, but I've just been doing so much of this and working at night so I'm starting work at 9 and don't finish until midnight so I'm not being flippant. I honestly can't wait to read it and find out what I'm doing, but I've just got no time right now."

He also spoke about the languishing sequel Wanted 2, which won't happen until the story is absolutely right.

"They're doing the right thing. They won't go ahead with it unless they get a story that feel totally and utterly 100% passionate about. If they don't have that, then frankly they shouldn't go ahead. But if they get a story together that they feel that way about then great, yeah."
