ShockTillYouDrop is reporting that development has started on a new horror film titled, The Further.

In The Further, a family realizes that the body of their comatose child has become a conduit for supernatural beings. However, the child's consciousness is held hostage "in the dark and insidious realm known as The Further."

Directing this project is James Wan (Saw). Producing are Jason Blum, Oren Peli and Steven Schneider from the hit film Paranormal Activity.
