The Amazing Spider-Man 2 star Jamie Foxx, who plays the villainous Electro in the sequel, confirmed in an interview that his superhero sequel will be heading to San Diego this summer for Comic-Con 2013. Here's what the actor had to say about his costume, being a part of the Spider-Man legacy, and his director, Marc Webb.

"Oh, man ― it's so much fun. The costume is great. They were very creative with it. It's part of a remarkable legacy: Spider-Man. I mean, when you're growing up as a kid, you know, that's everything. So to be able to be in that is just amazing. Now I'm just waiting to get to Comic-Con and see how people respond to it. [Director] Marc Webb is a genius and Amy Pascal and everybody at Sony have just be so gracious to allow me to have this opportunity. So it's cool."

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is still in the midst of principal photography, so there likely will not be a full trailer for this sequel presented at Comic-Con. Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone return as Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Gwen Stacy, with Shailene Woodley (Mary Jane Watson), Dane DeHaan (Harry Osborn), and Paul Giamatti (The Rhino) among the new additions to the cast.
