Screenwriter Kevin Williamson and director Wes Craven have already brought back some key, surviving characters for Scream 4, but it seems they may be bringing back a dead character as well. CHUD has learned that producers have been in talks with Jamie Kennedy to return for Scream 4 .

Of course, Kennedy's film-buff character Randy was killed off in Scream 2 and the site is reporting that they haven't been told how Randy's character would be resurrected for the fourth film. The site also believes that they could possibly bring the entire original cast back for this fourth film.

The possibility of Kennedy returning as himself and not the character Randy has also been suspected, somewhat similar to Craven's 1994 film New Nightmare where Heather Langenkamp, Robert Englund and others appeared as versions of themselves and not the characters they previously portrayed.
