One would think after a starring role on HBO's hit show Game of Thrones that Hollywood would open its doors for you. However, Jason Momoa found quite the opposite after his role on the hit show ended.

Jason Momoa confided to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show that he wasn't able to find work after Game of Thrones because producers didn't believe that he could speak English after playing Khal Drago. That's right. Producers believed in Khal Drago so much that they didn't believe Momoa could speak English.

Things have definitely picked up for Jason Momoa since the end of his deal with Game of Thrones. The actor is Aquaman in the Justice League movie as well as the standalone movie, which is set to hit theaters on December 21st.

There had been rumors that he was actually returning as Khal Drago in the 8th and final season of Game of Thrones. That rumor has since been laid to rest, and as far as we know, he won't be getting resurrected before the popular show comes to an end.

Jason Momoa can currently be seen in the upcoming action drama Braven, which hits theaters February 2. And he'll continue flaunting his muscles in the hit series Frontier, which was recently renewed on Netflix. As you can see, Jason clearly has no problem getting roles now.
