Last month, we reported that Jason Momoa was in talks for an unspecified role in Batman Vs. Superman, which was speculated to be either the villains Doomsday or Martian Manhunter. However, during a recent interview, the actor revealed that he is not involved in director Zack Snyder's superhero sequel.

"It's just rumors. I want to say something amazing, but I can't comment on rumors. It's flattering. I'm not involved in it."

When asked if, due to his massive stature, it seems like a "no-brainer" that he would star in a superhero film, he said that's possibly how the rumor got started.

"Maybe that's how it came out. Maybe someone said, 'You should be in this!' and I said, 'Yeah that would be great!' And it just went too far."

He also talked briefly about auditioning for Guardians of the Galaxy for the role of Drax the Destroyer, which eventually went to Dave Bautista.

"I mean you audition for things. I auditioned for it. I think it's the kind of like, 'He's a big guy that does action, and he's gonna fit in somewhere.'"

Henry Cavill (Superman), Ben Affleck (Batman), Diane Lane (Martha Kent), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White) and Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) are confirmed to star. There has been no shortage of casting rumors for multiple roles, including Lex Luthor (Joaquin Phoenix, Terry O'Quinn, Denzel Washington), Nightwing (Adam Driver, Penn Badgley, Ezra Miller) and Mr. Mxyzptlk (Larry David).
