Fox has found its leading pair for their latest pilot. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jason Wiles and Daisy Betts have been tapped for the lead roles for Persons Unknown.

The pilot was written by Oscar-winning screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie (The Usual Suspects) and showrunner Remi Aubuchon. Michael Rhymer has come aboard to direct the pilot as well.

The series revolves around a group of strangers who all wake up in a deserted town, with no idea how they ended up there, when they realize the presence of security cameras throughout the town. Wiles will play Joe, the leader of this group of strangers, with Betts to play Janet, a single mother who sides with Wiles so she can be with her child again.

The series is slated to go into production on Monday in Mexico City. A release date for the series wasn't announced.
