Javier Bardem has been offered a major role in the upcoming James Bond 23. The news comes just days after we reported that Javier Bardem was offered The Dark Tower lead role as Roland Deschain.

It isn't known what role Javier Bardem will play in James Bond 23, although it is likely that he will portray the project's villain. We also reported a few days ago that Judi Dench will return as M for James Bond 23.

Sam Mendes is directing James Bond 23 from a script by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, and John Logan. Little is known about the story of James Bond 23, although it will pick up right where Quantum of Solace left off.
