Mail Online is reporting that French actor Jean Reno has suffered a heart attack while vacationing in St. Barts.

He and his wife, Zofia Borucka, were visiting French singer Johnny Hallyday when he fell ill and was airlifted to the hospital. He remains in the intensive care unit.

The 60-year-old French actor, best known for his title role as Leon: The Professional, had just finished filming The Pink Panther 2 recently.

UPDATE (4:35 PM PST) People is reporting that Jean Reno did not suffer a heart attack in the Caribbean, according to Reno's publicist.

"Reports that actor Jean Reno is in the hospital due to a heart attack are false. He is vacationing in the Caribbean and went to a local hospital as a precaution for some discomfort he was feeling due to heartburn and gastroenteritis. It was definitely was not a heart attack. He is fine and healthy and enjoying the rest of his vacation traveling in the Caribbean," his publicist, Christina Papadopoulos said.

The publicist also joked that Reno probably just "ate too much spicy Caribbean food!"
