Spellbound director Jeffery Blitz is returning to the world of documentaries with an as-yet-untitled film about lottery winners. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Big Beach Films, the company behind Little Miss Sunshine, will be producing the film.

Blitz is currently touring the country, speaking with past lottery winners about their experiences. The film will also chronicle the overall phenomenon and history of the lottery itself.

Big Beach's Peter Saraf stated, "Jeff is a filmmaker who's more about people than institutions. He's getting at the bigger ideas through the people. It's not the Fahrenheit 9/11 of lottery winners."

The film will be completed sometime next year.
