Jeffrey Nachmanoff will pen screenplay for the thriller Abduction, which stars Taylor Lautner, who is also producing, according to Risky Business.

The film centers on a kid who ends up on the run once he discovers that his parents aren't his parents. Lionsgate purchased the Abduction package - Shawn Christensen's original script and Lautner's involvement - back in February, and the studio has been rushing it toward its July start date ever since.

Nachmanoff is pushing the script quickly so Lautner can film it in Pittsburgh before having to film the last two Twilight films for Summit.

John Singleton is directing Abduction, which has Lily Collins set to co-star.
