Sucker Punch's Jena Malone has emerged as another contender to play Johanna Mason in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. We reported last week that Mia Wasikowska and newcomer Zoe Aggeliki were the top choices to play the District 7 tribute. This new report reveals that Mia Wasikowska was not approached for the role, and she is not available as well.

Johanna Mason is a fierce competitor who plots to take out all of her competition in The 75th Hunger Games by pretending to be weak. There is a question about whether or not director Francis Lawrence will keep Johanna Mason's intro from the Suzanne Collins book, where a naked Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) first meets the character.

The actress most recently starred in The History Channel's record shattering mini-series Hatfields & McCoys.
