Pajiba reports that Jennifer Garner and Anna Faris are going to star in the romantic comedy The Bachelorette Party. Essentially, it is being called a female version of The Hangover.

The story follows a high-school teacher that was left at the altar and now must "send off her uptight cousin with a huge bachelorette bash." It turns out that the cousin is marrying the teacher's best male friend. At the bachelorette party, the uptight cousin runs afoul of her fiance with a drunken indiscretion. This leaves the teacher to decide where her loyalties are.

The screenplay was written by Karen Lutz (The House Bunny). She also wrote the novel upon which the movie is adapted from.

There currently is no director attached to this project. Garner and Faris are trying to rearrange their schedules so they can do the project.
